Wal-Mart Evaluates Green Stores' Progress After a Year of Operation

BENTONVILLE, Ark., Nov. 13, 2006 - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. says it has reviewed early results of various projects at its experimental "green" stores located in McKinney, Texas, and Aurora, Colorado, after one year of operation and is applying new learnings to other Wal-Mart stores and Sam's Clubs.
