Weight's 1,000th game is in special place

Doug Weight remembers being as confused about his NHL career as any young player. On March 17, 1993, his New York Rangers traded him to the Edmonton Oilers, who were waiting for their new center at the other end of the hallway at Madison Square Garden. Fortunately, Weight can look back on that day and laugh, as he did Wednesday.
