BANNING, 2:36 p.m. Sept. 5 (AP): A peach festival has replaced the annual rodeo for the first time in more than 20 years. The professional rodeo had become costly and wasn't drawing fans, organizers of the Stagecoach Days celebration said. They blame an influx of city folk with little interest in events such as bull riding, steer wrestling and calf roping.
