Orange County resort tax dollars dip in August

Reflecting what local hoteliers have reported for the summer tourist season, Orange County's resort tax collections for August were down 4.2 percent at $8,016,200 -- about $350,100 below the same period last year, according to county Comptroller Martha Haynie.
