Irked by what he feels are misleading reports on ZDNet Australia website, diehard Apple fan Dave Schroeder of the University of Wisconsin has challenged users to hack into his Mac mini and alter the Web page that runs on it. In throwing down the Mac OS X Security Challenge, Schroeder said that he had left open ssh and http to make it easier for people wanting to have a go at the contest.
