Breast Cancer Awareness month ended on Monday. The increasing incidence of breast cancer raises questions about how much potential victims know about the illness; its causes and treatment. Breast cancer is generally described as a malignant tumour in the breast. It usually attacks the breast and then spreads to other parts of the body. Nine times out of 10 however, lumps in the breast are not cancerous. In fact many women have naturally "lumpy" breasts caused by other harmless conditions.
