Friend has 'imperfect timing'
7th Oct 2005, 08:20 GMT
Dear Harriette: A friend made an appointment to meet with me regarding a business proposition about a week ago. I am out of work right now, which makes me very curious about his request. When I was on my way to the meeting, which was a good 45 minutes away, I received a call from his office stating that he needed to postpone the meeting until the next day. While I don't mind meeting with him, what if he pulls the same stunt and cancels on me again? I have now cleared my schedule for him twice. If he doesn't come through this time, do I have the right to be upset?
