NY Times Examines Use of Web Sites, Online Discussion Groups for Mental Health Information

The New York Times on Wednesday examined Web sites and online mental health discussion groups used by patients who seek health care information on the Internet. According to the Times, although "many doctors agree" that such sources "can provide patients with valuable information," they "caution that such unmediated modes of communication can also be dangerously misleading... click link for more info.
