(AFP) - Thai activists and AIDS patients hold protest banners during a rally against Thai-US talks outside a hotel in Bangkok. Thailand and the United States appeared far from a deal on free trade after wrapping up week-long talks dogged by mass protests over charges that the pact would deny Thais access to cheap medicines.(AFP/Pornchai Kittiwonsakul)
