Filed under: DVD, At Home If for some crazy reason you just need to get your grubby little mitts on an HD-DVD player, but you can't fathom spending $500 on one, check out this bit: some folks have managed to hack a $200 Xbox 360 HD-DVD Player to work with Windows. Ordinarily, the player only works in conjunction with an Xbox 360 system. However, with this guide you'll only need the player itself, a Windows-equipped PC, and WinDVD 8 to get the job done, and you'll be on your merry way to watching HD-DVDs on your computer. Intriguing.
