Majority of the cattle in sick cow's herd slaughtered for food or livestock feed

DALLAS - State researchers who are hunting for the herd that was found to harbor the first known case of mad cow disease in the country have said that most cattle of that herd were slaughtered even before they had begun their formal enquiries.
