Oak Ridge native to compete in Ironman

Chris Parks, a 2000 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, will be one of 2,000 challengers competing in the Ironman Triathlon World Championship set to take place on Oct. 15 in Kona, Hawaii. He is the son of Bob and Jackie Parks of Oak Ridge.
