Ford's restructuring goes in to overdrive, intends to slash 30,000 jobs

Ford Motor Co., one of the world's largest automakers, announced Monday that around 30,000 jobs would be slashed and 14 manufacturing sites, which include seven assembly plants, would be closed by the year 2012.
