Herbal extract Zyflamend effective in treatment of prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is in the news once again. An herbal extract called Zyflamend has been shown, in vitro, to cause prostate cancer cells to self-destruct. The preliminary studies showed a reduction of prostrate cancer of 78%. The drug has not yet been tested on actual humans, though Phase I clinical trials are currently underway, via the Columbia University department of Urology. Dr. Debra Bemis says the preliminary results have been very surprising, and are extremely promising in the treatment of prostate cancer. That has to be the best feeling a researcher can get.
