The Buffalo Sabres improved to 10-0 on the road this season, getting a go-ahead goal from Adam Mair in the third period to beat the Carolina Hurricanes 7-4 Monday night. The Sabres extended their NHL record for most consecutive road wins at the start of a season. After losing to the Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference finals last season, Buffalo has beaten Carolina all three times they've played this season.
