Bono and Motorola unveil new MotoSlvr for RED

LONDON - Rock star Bono has managed to rope in Motorola and other mobile firms to back his project RED, which is designed to send some of the private sector earnings to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. Bono launched a new red handset in Motorola's Slvr series on Monday. The sales of this handset are expected to raise millions of dollars to fight the epidemic in Africa.
