(AP) - Richard Branson looks to the New Mexico landscape over the heads of elementary school children from the Las Cruces School District in Upham, N.M., Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005. Branson said Wednesday a deal to locate the headquarters of his Virgin Galactic at a planned $225 million (euro187.2 million) state-built spaceport in southern New Mexico will make the U.S. state 'the launch pad for the new space industry.' Branson planted a Virgin Galactic flag on the spot, saying it's ideal for sending tourists into space. (AP Photo/David G. Pierre)
