PepsiCo net profit down on exceptionals, still beats guidance

PepsiCo has reported a 37% fall in Q3 net profit as the result of a one-off tax charge related to the repatriation of $7.5 billion of overseas earnings under the American Jobs Creation Act. The company, however, still beat expectations thanks to soaring sales last year.
