(AP) - Sony Corp.'s pet robot Aibo promotion staff Kiyoko Kondo shows latest Aibo ERS-7M2 models in Tokyo, in this October 8, 2004, file photo. Sony, reporting a 17.5 percent rise in profit for the October-December quarter and promising to stay in the black for the full fiscal year on Thursday January 26, 2006, also said the Japanese electronics conglomerate will stop developing new Aibo entertainment robots, although after-sales support will continue.
