PDC: Second public relations gaffe

After the mobile phone/PDA special offer P.R. screw-up we've had another one today for all international attendees. After announcing at the keynote that all PDC attendees would get SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition free of charge it turns out that buried in the small print at the site where you register is a note to the effect that this is only for PDC attendees from the USA and Canada. As you can imagine, on top of session drawings etc only being open to US citizens this is p***ing off international attendees who've typically paid more to attend in the first place. Time for a European version of PDC methinx!
