Bundaberg evidence review virtually a new inquiry: Queensland Premier

Queensland Premier Peter Beattie says the examination of the Morris inquiry evidence by a former judge will "in essence" be a new inquiry. Former patients of Dr Jayant Patel, the doctor at the centre of the Bundaberg Base Hospital inquiry, have decided to push for a new inquiry into allegations of malpractice levelled against the overseas-trained surgeon.
