Ice skater, too young for Olympics?

Filed under: Health and Safety, Lifestyle Mao Asada is an accomplished skater from Japan who has performed an astonishing two triple axles in the same program, is not old enough to participate in the upcoming winter olympics in Turin. At just 15 she's not qualified for the games. You're thinking of 15-year-old Tara Lipinski aren't you? Me too, I didn't think there was such a thing as "too young" when it came to sports. It turns out the International Skating Union, following the advice of doctors, raised it's age limit so that participants must be 15 by July 1st to participate in the Olympic games.
