17th Nov 2006, 04:35 GMT
-Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge will start against Vanderbilt after missing last week's game with a sprained right ankle. Coach Phillip Fulmer said Thursday that Ainge would replace redshirt freshman Jonathan Crompton, who started when No. 22 Tennessee (7-3, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) lost 31-14 at Arkansas. Ainge sprained his right ankle at South Carolina on Oct. 28. He started the next week against LSU but tweaked his other ankle in the first quarter and was replaced by Crompton.
