D.Post near deal to buy Exel for $6.6 bln-source

LONDON/FRANKFURT (Reuters) - German mail group Deutsche Post DPWGn.DE has formalised the details of a pending bid for logistics company Exel EXL.L, a deal worth some 5.3 billion euros (3.59 billion pounds) to create the world's biggest logistics, sea and air freight group, a source said on Tuesday.
