Currency rates boost Nintendo profits

TOKYO — Nintendo, the Japanese video-game maker known for Pokemon and Super Mario, reported Thursday a 36 per cent jump in profit for the nine months ended Dec. 31 as favourable currency rates offset dipping sales.
