16th Nov 2006, 08:14 GMT
Justice Minister Charles Rizk said Wednesday he did not understand why Central Bank boss Riad Salameh has yet to lift banking secrecy to facilitate investigation into the three-year-old Al-Madina Bank scandal. In an interview with LBC, Rizk said that under the law, Salameh can lift secrecy if a bank is involved in serious financial problems, such as bankruptcy.
