GlobalSantaFe Extends Deepwater Contracts for $1.5B

Worldwide offshore oil and gas drilling contractor GlobalSantaFe Corp. has signed agreements with Australia's BHP Billiton Ltd. to extend the contracts of two ultra-deepwater drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico for additional four-year terms.
