The stalled separatist-New Delhi dialogue got off to what Mirwaiz Umar Farooq called a ''historic'' start saying that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had assured his delegation of an ''honourable and durable'' resolution of the Kashmir problem. And that the only way forward was to ensure that ''all forms of violence should come to an end.''
