Christmas spending in Britain predicted to hit the roof

LONDON - Christmas spending in Europe is predicted to increase by 2 percent this year, but British spending will top the list with at least 17 billion pounds spent by generous Britons, according to the annual report from business advisory group Deloitte. Christmas spending in Britain is estimated to hit a 12-year high this year.
