(AP) - Bonfire societies parade through Lewes in Sussex, southern England Saturday Nov. 5, 2005, as part of the 400th anniversary of the failure of a plot to blow up Parliament. Guy Fawkes Day, also known as Bonfire Night, has been celebrated on Nov. 5 with bonfires and fireworks ever since 1605 when Guy Fawkes, a Roman Catholic, was caught in Westminster Hall near 36 barrels of gunpowder set to blow up the Protestant King James I and members of Parliament.
