Illinois coach Bruce Weber received bad news Tuesday when he learned guard Jamar Smith will miss four to six weeks with a high ankle sprain and Brian Randle could miss up to four weeks after aggravating a groin injury Monday night. The injuries, combined with Rich McBride’s suspension, leave Illinois without its top three returning scorers.
