Ford restates finances starting 2001

DETROIT - Beleaguered carmaker, Ford Motor Co. has said that it has revised its finances since 2001, which narrowed its losses in the third quarter, in order to correctly account for the interest derivatives that had been used to hedge longer-term debt.
