Fumbled passes, mangled overlaps, fluffed goal-kicks, decapitation tackles missed by the referee... maybe they should have come off for bad light. But they stayed on for the duration, the combatants of London Irish and Worcester, and they eventually brought the house down with a frantic finish - the kind that raises the temperature on the pitch to something approaching boiling point and creates endless opportunities for the argumentative sorts in the stands.
