Sanders outlines job cuts in budget

Nov. 15 (UNION-TRIBUNE): Mayor Jerry Sanders wants to cut 470 mostly vacant positions and 100 management or supervisory jobs from the next city budget, a year after being elected in part on a promise to substantially reduce San Diego's payroll.
