US soldier sentenced to life for rape, murder of Iraqi girl (AFP)

AFP - A US military judge has sentenced a soldier to life in prison with possibility of parole Thursday for the rape and murder of a 14-year-old Iraqi girl and her family, a military spokeswoman said.
