Theyre big enough and strong enough, but not yet smooth enough. Thats Northern Iowa football coach Mark Farleys take on his defense entering todays 7:05 p.m. game against Division II Minnesota Duluth at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. "We had too many mental errors on defense last week," Farley said of the 52-17 season-opening win over Division I-AA non-scholarship Drake. "(This game) is another chance for those players who havent started for us before to have more starting opportunity before theyre put underneath 70,000 people doing what theyre doing."
