New moms may donate umbilical-cord blood

Winnie Palmer Hospital joins an effort to increase the national supply. Women who give birth at Orlando's largest baby hospital now have the option of donating the blood from their umbilical cords for use as potential treatments for leukemia, sickle cell disease and many other conditions.
