A SERIOUSLY-ill grandmother, left stranded in Bermuda without insurance, is back in Manchester after a "guardian angel" paid £50,000 to fly her home. Sheila Hollinghurst, 53, was on a cruise when she was struck down by an aneurysm - a swelling on her brain. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office said they were unable to help because she was not insured. Then a mystery benefactor heard about her plight and paid for an air ambulance and medical bills.
