Tyco health-care unit logs 51% Q4 profit spike

Tyco International Ltd. said Wednesday that its health-care segment's fourth-quarter revenue improved slightly over last year as its operating income jumped 51 percent. The parent firm also announced a companywide restructuring program as it prepares to split into three separate firms.
