Ever wish you knew what they were talking about?

I enjoy staying abreast of medical studies and findings in the news. I like knowing about new treatments, and testing procedures. I find it important for my family and myself. Most of the time I can usually understand what is written and appreciate the journalist using more lay terminology than medical jargon. Occasionally I come across something that seems remarkable, some new life saving discovery, and I am excited to read it, until I do, and realize I can't understand more than three words in each sentence. Here is an example; "Study suggests that histone deacetylase enzymes cooperating with CBP/p300 histone acetylases trigger expression of many genes that respond to hypoxia, according to St. Jude." The title to the article is, "Scientists Unlock Solid Tumor Treatment Genetic Secrets," well I want to be in on the secret too; does anyone have any suggestions or help into knowing what this all means?
