Verizon Makes Pitch for Cable to Fairfax Supervisors

Verizon Communications Inc. appeared before the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors last night in hopes of winning approval to sell cable television service in the county, an important market in its drive to consolidate telephone, Internet and television service into one package.
