OLYMPIC FAQs: SELECTING THE 2006 TEAMWhen will the announcement take place?Canada is scheduled to unveil its 23-man roster on Wednesday in Vancouver, at a press conference set for 2 p.m. local time, or about five hours before the Edmonton Oilers play the Vancouver Canucks. That way, two members of the selection committee, Oilers general manager Kevin Lowe and Canucks assistant general manager Steve Tambellini, will already be on site. Wayne Gretzky, the team's executive director, will fly in from Phoenix following a Tuesday home date with the St. Louis Blues to join them.
