Lebanese bakeries threaten to raise prices

The high prices of fuel oil and diesel are ravaging local industries and consumer goods in Lebanon as bakeries warned that they may be compelled to raise the prices of bread. "We witnessed an increase of 60 percent in the cost of production of bread and this is mainly due to changes in the price of diesel," the president of the Union.
