Lewis, Leicester on right track
5th Sep 2005, 12:40 GMT
Richard Lewis hit only his second home run of the season Sunday, but hopes its a sign of better times to come. "Its been a struggle this season for me," the Iowa Cubs second baseman said after he provided a lot of the offensive punch in a 13-2 victory over New Orleans. "It wasnt my best day this season, but the good days have been few and far between." The Cubs and the Zephyrs — at the bottom of their Pacific Coast League divisions — end the season at 1 p.m. today at Principal Park. The victory — before 6,769 fans — also means the Cubs wont finish the season with a losing streak, which was broken at five Sunday.
