XPostFacto to shoehorn Tiger into every Mac ever built
17th Sep 2005, 04:21 GMT
Since OS X runs like a limp turtle on our old iMac G3, we’re not exactly sure why you would want to run Tiger on even-older-school Macs, but that isn’t stopping Other World Computing in its quest to emulate Apple’s latest OS on every Macintosh ever made. Although their current emulation software, XPostFacto 4.0, only allows OS 9.x and 10.2 through 10.4 machines to receive the full Tiger-treatment, OWC must see an untapped market of Mac users still stuck in the Stone Age. Could this signal the rebirth of the Macintosh 128k? Only time will tell. [Via Personal Tech Pipeline] Read | Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments © 2005 Weblogs, Inc.
