Advocates needed for abused and neglected children
16th Sep 2005, 22:00 GMT
CASA of the Tennessee Heartland seeks committed people to become CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers. CASAs are trained community members who go into juvenile court to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children brought under the protection of the court. It is the mission of the volunteers to expedite the process through which these children are placed in safe, permanent homes.
