City Gets Federal Firefighting Grant

City volunteer firefighters will be using a federal grant to help pay for such things as radios and protective equipment. Davenport officials found out last week they would be getting $66,319 from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
