The death of 23–year old Thomas Herrion, a player belonging to the San Francisco 49ers, who collapsed on Saturday night, in the locker room after a preseason game proves to remain a mystery as yesterday’s autopsy report failed to be conclusive, leaving the next course of action to be toxicology tests that would take between three and six weeks. While football fraternity seek clues on Herrion’s death, the incident squarely put in focus NFL’s health examinations for players.
