Average pay in two area counties tops $1,000 a week

Average weekly wages topped $1,000 in the Pennsylvania counties of Montgomery and Chester in the first quarter of this year, ranking them 20th- and 26th-highest, respectively, in the nation, according to statistics released by the U.S. Department of Labor on Tuesday.
