Sent e-mails hold the keyto boyfriend's role
14th Nov 2006, 10:25 GMT
DEAR HARRIETTE: I read about Danielle's unfortunate deleted e-mail discovery (her partner's ex was sending suggestive e-mails to him, even though she knows he's in a committed relationship) and think there may have been an important piece left out of the equation. I absolutely agree that if her boyfriend has something to hide, he would not allow her access to something as private and sensitive as personal e-mail; however, since she already started reading the previously received (and later deleted) messages, there was no mention of whether or not she checked his sent items. His responses to his ex-girlfriend's messages, if any, would expose his REAL role in this conversational exchange.
